ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE IN ACTING – in-person, Los Angeles

September 19, – November 7, 2025 (7 weeks) *no class October 17th

This class focuses on the application of the Alexander Technique to acting, movement, voice, and character development. Open to beginners and professional-level actors and creatives, the classes will be taught in person, in a small group setting (20), to give individual attention.

Connecting to the body through awareness; recognizing the force of habit; improving movement by learning to organize body relationships; understanding means and ends; making clear choices of intention; infusing direction in your thinking and movement; improving breath coordination and vocal quality; freeing impulse and response patterns; applying the Alexander Technique to scenes, monologues, sonnets, and songs; learning to develop characters physically.
